In fact, the creation of such a retreat was already inspired by Lord Swaminarayan Himself who loved nature and the environment. He had once even planned to retire for meditation in a secluded place among the forest and trees (Vachanamrutam, Gadhada III – 13). Devasya is precisely such a place Bhagwan Swaminarayan describes, spread out over 500 a res with natural serene beauty the retreat includes a pristine open-water lake and abundance of greenery.
The site will house the Bhagwan Himself in a beautiful mandir with the very sacred shrine of Shree Radha Krishna and Shree Hari Krishna Maharaj; murtis made entirely from prasadi items of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and originally installed in Karachi over 174 years ago.
